Your choice

“Wherever you are, be there totally.

If you find your “here and now” intolerable

and it makes you unhappy,

you have three options:

remove yourself from the situation, change it or accept it totally.

If you want to take responsibility for your life,

you must choose one of those three options and you must choose now.

Then accept the consequences.”

“THE OPTIMIST’S CREED” Christian D. Larson

THE OPTIMIST’S CREED

PROMISE YOURSELF…

To be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind.

To talk health, happiness, and prosperity to every person you meet.

To make all your friends feel that there is something worthwhile in them.

To look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true.

To think only of the best, to work only for the best and to expect only the best.

To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own.

To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future.

To wear a cheerful expression at all times and give a smile to every living creature you meet.

To give so much time to improving yourself that you have no time to criticize others.

To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear, and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.

To think well of yourself and to proclaim this fact to the world, not in loud word, but in great deeds.

To live in the faith that the whole world is on your side, so long as you are true to the best that is in you.

“Invitation to look within”

“I am inviting you to go deeper, to learn and practice so that you become someone who has a great capacity for being solid, calm and without fear, because our society  needs people like you who have these qualities. And your children, our children need people like you, in order to go on, in order to become solid and calm and without fear.”

Thich Nhat Hanh

Commentary

Look within yourself to discover that these qualities are already yours. Dive within and find this depth in you. It is a silent work and the only requirement is a burning desire for TRUTH. Know that if the desire is authentic and permanent one finds the way. You must pay attention WITHIN. ONLY PAY ATTENTION. No money or knowledge or information or time are required. Only  your ATTENTION now, you must be present, here and now.

Know that evenness of mind is only found within. BE solid, calm and fearless.

“Many people, especially ignorant people,

Never apologize for being correct or for being years ahead of your time.

“There is no path to Truth. Truth must be discovered, but there is …”

“There is no path to Truth.

\r\n

Truth must be discovered, but there is no formula for its discovery.

\r\n

What is formulated is not true.

\r\n

You must set out on the uncharted sea, and the uncharted sea is yourself,
